In December Alfagomma do Brasil opened a new branch in Parauapebas, state of Pará. This will be the 8th Alfagomma branch in Brazil. The Pará State, crossed by the lower Amazon River, has one of the highest concentrations of mining activity in the world.

The new location will expand our presence in the region and support our 3 local service centres in the Vale iron ore mines.

Vale is the largest producer of iron ore and nickel in the world. Vale’s activities include manganese, ferroalloys, copper, bauxite, potash, kaolin, and cobalt production. Vale is also operating nine hydroelectricity plants and a large logistics network including railroads, ships, and ports.

Alfagomma onsite service centres will provide hydraulic and industrial fluid handling preventive and breakdown maintenance for the vast Vale mining equipment fleet.
